I like watching the running water when mum runs a bath. I either slipped or because mum hadn't put any bubbles in the water, got in because I thought it was empty. I like sitting in the empty bath.
Mum says that I was very lucky as dad likes to run the hot water first when running a bath, but because mum is a lady and has a bit more brains about her (plus having children) she always runs the cold first.
After I took my dip mum tried to dry me off with a towel as I was dripping water everywhere. Only I was very scared and angry, because Thomas and Charlie were laughing at me, so hissed and scratched her. Mum forgave me though. Honestly who could say mad at the face like mine?
I don't think I'll be watching the water run for a while now.

I don't like water :(
ReplyDeleteI run always away.....
Have a Happy Easter Weekend
Hugs to all Kareltje =^.^=
You do look so cute and clean though... we haven't had baths yet, they do not sound pleasant.
ReplyDeleteI am scared of the water! I won't go near the tub!
ReplyDeleteYou are very cute there in that picture ... I am glad your mom forgave you.
OH NO! I'm coming over straight away to comfort yoo!
ReplyDeleteLove alfie Marshall xxxxxxxxxxx
PS: I'm voting for yoo in the KFC so I didn't want to enter myself.
Aw, Lola, poor you! Nicki likes to watch running water, but none of us likes to get wet at all. What an unpleasant "surprise" for you when you fell in.
ReplyDeleteYou do look adorable in that photo, though. No wonder your mum forgave you for scratching her!
Poor Lola. I do like the water though. I like to get in and lie on mum or dad and let my paws and tail float in the warm water. Sometimes I make biscuits on them too, but that makes them say ouch.

Oh Lola you look just simply goregous!! Our mom leaves the bathing to the grommers.
ReplyDeleteYou guys have a Good Friday and Happy Easter

Poor Lola. That is an awful experience indeed....
ReplyDeleteOh noes! Poor Lola! We do not enjoy wet! Whitey does like to drink from the faucet, but that's about the extent of it around here.
ReplyDeleteAw, I feel for you, Lola! I did that once too...mom just got out of the bathtub and I was sitting on the edge and I fell in! The best part was mom trying to catch me to dry me off as I ran through the house soaking wet!!
ReplyDeleteWe like to watch running water too and Calle/Halle slipped into the bath 1-2 times when they were babies; Sukki likes to watch the shower water run...We're sorry it scared you Lola and hope you have a better day...With that gorgeous face, we think you could get away with just about anything!...Happy Easter weekend to all of you, our sweet friends...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteOne of our cats fell in once. Yes we did laugh. I don't go too close to the bath at all.
ReplyDeleteYou're right! You're too cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by; we greatly appreciate your comment.
Wishing a great weekend.

Lola we understand why you were angry. We have all fallen in the tub too when it is full of water - and we all hated it!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you have a wonderful, dry weekend!
Woo khats are silly!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Shen!
I fell in once, and in the panic trying to get out, knocked the other bean's drink IN the tub! He laughed after he made sure I didn't claw him too badly!

Didn't you want to try it, just once? See what all the fuss is about?
ReplyDeleteIt always looks like a lot of fun. And maybe it would be, if it didn't involve getting wet.
At least you only fell in the bathtub! Tamir fell in the TOILET BOWL!

ReplyDeleteWe are just glad you were not hurt...well maybe a little...just a wee bit of pride was hurt. None of us like water in my house either.

I hate when mommy gives me baths. Try to avoid it if you can!
ReplyDeletePoor Lola! We don't mind a little wet, but would not like a dip!
ReplyDeleteOh no Lola! We hope you never have to endure that ever again!
ReplyDeleteyes, you will. Next time you see the water running you'll be curious again. Falling in is one of the pitfalls of being curious.
ReplyDeleteSounds awful!
