To our good friends

We would like to say thank you for all the support, advice and information our goof friends have giving to us during our search for Thomas O'Toole. Mum will be doing everything you have recommended!

This morning mum telephoned our Local Authority to ask if there has been any deceased cats collected from the surrounding streets over the last few days. The lovely lady on the phone assured us that all deceased cats collected by the environmental health and street cleaning teams are taken straight to t local vet to be scanned for a microchip. Since Thomas is chipped it is good news that we haven't received that call yet. However she did take Thomas's details and promised to call back should she hear anything about a cat fitting his description.

So maybe that means that Thomas is still out there somewhere. But where?

  6. Purring very very hard for Thomas to come home soon!

    It is very comforting to know your local authority checks for microchips. Ours doesn't do that here.

  12. Oh we can't imagine what you all are going through! Could he have gotten locked in somewhere? Our neighbor's cat got out and locked in another neighbor's garage for almost a week before being found.

    We hope Thomas comes home soon! We're not going to stop purring until he does!

  13. Thank you everyone. We're clinging to the hope that he may have got locked in a shed or garage and the owners have gone away.

    We have posted leaflets with a picture of Thomas, his discription, when he went missing and asking them to check any shed or garages through every door on our housing estate. Of course with two children and other animals to care for my time searching and leafleting is limited.

    We have done every thing we can, the rest is up to Thomas xxx

  16. I am so sorry about this. I will keep praying for Thomas and his safe return. We did have a cat locked in a neighbors garage once for two weeks. Maybe this is a possibility.

  25. Are there any storage buildings in the neighbor hood that he could have been trapped in? WE are still purring for him and you

  26. We will not stop our purring until he is found. Our Roger Ramjet ::bows head in respect:: years ago (before I was even born!) got stuck in a neighbors garage for several days. The neighbor was elderly and couldn't hear him meow. Dad found him by knocking on the neighbors garage door and heard a meow. He was next door the whole time!

    Maybe neighbor children can help look too!

  29. We're purring lots for Thomas to come home. Are there any buildings where he could get into on his rounds, but might have trouble getting out of...I (Gypsy) did get locked in a vehicle overnight at a neighbour's place - it was an old 4WD that sat in their driveway. They opened it up for some reason and no one realised I had sneaked inside when they went to lock it up again. Big purrs and purrayers to all of you,

    {{{hugs}}}

  30. oh Thomas we are purring that you find your way home! Has he ever done this before - where can he be? Sometimes animal communicators can help find lost pets - do you have one near you?

    Thanks so much for taking the time to come by our Gotcha Day party, even with this going on; we're so glad Charlie and Lola could make it and only wish Thomas could have been there too.
