Thankful Thursday

We're sure that everyone has heard of Ms Mary Bale, the women who dumped Lola the cat in a wheelie bin for 'a joke' and couldn't see what all the fuss was about because it was 'just a cat'.

We're of course extemely thankful that Lola the cat was 'unharmed' during her ordeal and she is recovering at home with the help of her humans and the kindness of other cat lovers.

We're also thankful that cats have had their revenge against the likes of Ms Bale.

If the video doesn't load watch it here.

  2. I guess we need to remember all the good people and what they achieve every day.

  3. That second video cracked me up. The thing that made me the maddest is how she pretended to be nice to the kitty and then, after looking both ways to make sure no one was watching, she betrayed the trusting kitty. Thank goodness Lola was found and rescued in time. Her story could have had a much worse ending.

  6. We saw the clip on the BBC the day it happened and just could not believe it! That woman is a real lunatic!

  7. We like your video better than the one where she is putting the cat in the bin... That was nasty.

  8. The second video is very appropriate! This was an awful story - especially the woman's reaction after she was caught. We have those wheelie bins here and they make our mom nervous just for that reason (we don't go outside but some of the neighbor cats too.) We are so glad that Lola was rescued.

  9. That woman needs therapy, but she probably won't seek it or it won't be a part of her 'fine'. She won't get better without it.

  10. That woman needs to be dropped in a garbage can and left there to rot!!
I can't understand why some humans are so cruel.
Your video was exactly what I wish for that woman and worse. There has to be stricter laws enforced regarding animal cruelty.

  11. Yes, we were following that story very closely (thanks to our pal Whicky Wuudler), and were glad that Lola was okay, and that this horrible woman was identified. We just can't understand why someone would even entertain the thought of doing something like that.

    LOVE your video! :)

  12. We couldn't believe it when we read that the RSPCA might bring a prosecution against her. MIGHT????
The second video made us laugh.

  13. That woman is loony! How is a cat supposed to climb out of smoothed surfaced bin that deep? So glad Lola was found and is ok.

Hee hee! The revenge video is great!

  15. When we saw what the horrible Mrs Mary Bale did to sweet Lola the cat we were horrified. She should be punished because it is no thanks to her that Lola's story ended happily. We doubt she feels ashamed ~ people like her rarely do.

    Smoochies to the rescued Lola.

    Milo xx

And smoochies to my beautiful Lola too! If ennybuddy treated MY Lola that way I'd get 'em! 'Cos I'm TUFF! I'd give horrid Mary Bale a right smack-pawin! Nuff said.

    Love Alfie
