FIGHT!
Fish Number One: A Brown Trout - 1lb 4oz
Fish Number Two: A Rainbow Trout - 3lb 4oz
The Mum baked them in foil in the oven with butter, lemon and a slosh of white wine. We even got to share in the celebration by having fresh Trout for dinner. It was very nommy. Only Charlie, the fusspot, refused to eat it because, it didn't smell of Tuna and certainly hadn't come out of the tin. No accounting for taste!

We at The Paw Relations are honoured to join in with Milo and Alfie from The Cat's Meow and all our friends from all over the Internets in supporting LIVESTRONG DAY, remembering those that are courageously battling cancer and those who have sadly lost their lives to this dreadful disease.
Everyone has had their lives touched by Cancer in one way or another, whether through helping a loved one fight, battling Cancer yourself or having to say goodbye to someone far too soon.
Cancer is a horrible black cloud that can cast it's shadow far over peoples' lives. Living beneath such a cloud is frightening, exhausting and emotionally draining. Mum had her own scare with Cancer recently and was very lucky to be given the all clear. But living under that cloud, even for a few weeks was something the Mum would never wish on another person.
~Amanda~
On the 9th June 2010 a very special lady lost her fight against Cancer. She battled with such strength and dignity that we never thought it possible that she would ever give up that fight. Even when they news was bad, we all clung to that small sliver of hope that maybe, just maybe the doctors and consultants were wrong and she would prove it to them. We only new Amanda through the wonderful social media of the internet and parenting forums and sadly only had a few fleeting face to face meetings with her. But today is for Amanda and the countless thousands like her, fighting, winning and sadly losing everything to this disease.
Let's make Cancer history!
Thanks to Ann from Zoolarty
Purring and praying for Vic from Zoolatry and those effected by Cancer
Last night the Mum managed to corner us and give us the dreaded flea treatment. She uses the spot on flea treatment where you part the cat's furs and squeeze a drop of liquid onto the skin at the back of the neck.
The Mum says only someone very silly thought it would be a good idea to attempt to put a drop of liquid anywhere on a cat. She also says that her idea and the flea treatment company's idea of a drop of liquid are two completely different things. At one point she thought she was going to run out of cat!
Of course we have all placed her in Ignoresville for the foreseeable future.
However, we would like to remind all our kitty and doggy friends about the importance of keeping up with your flea treatment, even though the colder months, as they humans like to turn the hots on in the house and this makes the perfect environment for the fleas to live and breed. Only a few fleas can turn into a very serious infestation within a matter of weeks.
Oh and you indoor kitties should also make sure you have regular flea treatments as well as fleas can hitch rides on clothing and other fabrics
Lets all have a itch free autumn and winter.
