Almost Wordless Wednesday - DUCK!

Mum and baby ducks taken at Cliveden National Trust

Today is Mum's second surgical appointment to have her suspicious mole removed. Even though the operation is relatively simple and will only take 10 - 15 minutes, we would appreciate some purrs as Mum is very nervous.

Sushi Cat Needs Your Help!

Mum recently found these cute little Sushi Cat games on the Internet (really she saw Pre-teen Bean playing them and wanted a go too)

The idea of the game is to feed Sushi Cat as much sushi as possible so he can be a fat cat, like Charlie. Beware though, it can be a very frustrating but addictive game.

Enjoy.

Shhh!

Ugh! Shhh! Please don't shout.

We're currently napping off the after effects of our Pawsome Blogoversary Party. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and had a fantastic time, it was great to share this moment with you all.

I think Lola may have enjoyed herself a little two much......

Ooo my head! I remember drinking a few niptinis and dancing on the table, after that it all gets a bit fuzzy.

Will you two whipper snappers keep it down?! Some of us are trying to nap!

Our 1st Blogoversary

Today is our 1st Blogoversary! Who thought we would ever get this far? Not us!
You see our mum is never very good at sticking to things. She starts stuff, full of enthusiasm and great ideas and then something shiny catches her attention.

So please come and celebrate with us into the wee hours of the morning, when there will be plenty of opportunity for a good ol' fence singsong.

There will be niptinis available for those discerning adult cats who enjoy a tipple or two.

Cold fresh milk will be available on tap to those younger felines among us

There will also be Champagne available to your humans, yes no expense spared, we will even entertain your humans (it keeps them out of trouble).

And of course non alcoholic wine will be available to those that are designated drivers.

Please partake of our fully comprehensive, all you can eat cold cuts buffet. There is ham,

roasted chicken

and roasted beef.

For those woofie visitors, a bone buffet like no other.

What would a buffet dinner be without after dinner treats? Tartar control of course, there is no excuse for poor dental hygiene!

When you have finally eaten, drunk, snacked and sung your last, please take a gift basket home with you.

We hope you will enjoy celebrating this wondrous occasion with us and will join us in a niptini or milk toast to many more to follow.

Now a word from The Mum.

I never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined a year ago when I started this blog that I would meet many wonderful cats and their fantastic owners. It feels like we have been through so much together over the past year.

We have welcomed new members to the blogosphere, said sad farewells to many friends. Purred and prayed our hardest, rejoiced when people and cats healed and shared tears and frustrations when things didn't work out quite they way we had hoped.

It has been a wonderful journey and when I took in two small kittens, one black and one grey, one I never knew I would make.

Thank you all xxx

Femme Friday

Once must always maintain an aloof and mysterious air about one self.

Just to frustrate the mancats.

Thinking Thursday

*Thinking*

There has been a lot of strange talk around here lately. Recently I overheard mum telling dad that we were all going to see a very nice man about a rooster shoot.

Mum didn't strike me as a blood sport kind, but I hear those roosters can be particularly noisy and troublesome. So that could be why people want to shoot them. Anyway our appointment will be made in the next few weeks (these rooster shoots seem rather popular). I shall report back as soon as I can.

**Mum here, I think Thomas must have misheard. They're all due their booster shots. Someone is in for a very nasty surprise.**
